Who we are...

           We're a small business looking to fulfill the needs and desires of RC enthusiasts whose primary concern is flying lighter and longer. As such you'll find that we carry a rather unique line of products that can help you get the superior performance you've been searching for. Though our product line is presently limited, we know you'll find that what we do offer is quite impressive in terms of price and performance. Our product line will be expanding greatly in the very near future so check back with us often.

What we do...

           We search high and low for the best performance products for our customers. We put every product through rigorous testing before we even consider offering it to our customers. Our aim is to provide our customers with the absolute highest quality products at the most reasonable prices possible. The results are happy customers with longer flight times and lighter planes.

Return Policy ...

           Defective merchandise must be returned within 30 days. The packaging should be included along with a description of the failure. All defective merchandise will be replaced within two weeks upon receiving and verifying the defect, depending on stock on hand. Do not damage the merchandise or packaging further by writing on it or trying to fix it, doing so may void replacement. Battery packs that have been altered in any way are not covered under this policy. We offer limited warranties on items that do not come with a manufacturer's warranty. For items with warranties provided by the manufacturer, you will be asked to contact them regarding a replacement or repair. We will not under any circumstances offer a warranty on merchandise with cosmetic defects. Defects must impair performance to warrant a replacement or repair. We cannot be liable or responsible for any shipping charges incurred in shipping items back to us or the manufacturer for repairs.

           All returned merchandise must be received within 30 days of purchase. To return goods, the merchandise must be unused and in it's original undamaged and unopened packaging. Once the item is returned to us, you will be given the option of using that credit towards another item or having a refund issued. If a refund is issued, the amount returned will be minus processing fees and shipping even if free shipping was granted. In addition, a short description of why you are returning the item is required by email and a copy of that email plus our response including permission to return the item must be included in the package with the item.

           Before returning an item, an email should be sent to us requesting permission to return the item. In this email the reason for the return should be clearly explained. If there is a technical problem we will try our best to help resolve it before mailing items back and forth. Once permission for a return is granted the item can be returned to the above address.

          Note: ALL battery sales are final, returns will not be accepted. Heatsink returns will have an additional restocking fee.

          All returns are sent out First Class Mail. We can not be responsible if this form of mail takes longer to be delivered or gets lost in transit. If you would like upgraded mail options, you will need to request this in your email, make a note of it with item returned as well as $5.50 in the form of check or money order for Priority Mail.

Our Shipping Policy...

           We ship orders Monday, Wednesday, and Friday except on holidays when the Post Office is closed or otherwise noted on our home page. If a national holiday falls on a Monday, we ship the following Tuesday.

           We ship all of our orders Priority with the United States Postal Service (there is an exception for small items; when $2.50 domestic and $3.00 - 4.00 international shipping rates are charged, items are sent First Class in a padded envelope). When email addresses are present with the orders, we utilize the USPS email shipping notification which does not always send confirmation right away. There is no tracking offered for First Class packages. We only purchase our postage through www.usps.com and at this time they do not offer First Class labels with tracking (Pitney Bowes programs do, but we can not use them at this time for our applications).

           USPS is not always current with the tracking, if you get a message saying the shipping label has been printed, your package has been delivered to the postal station on the same day. We ALWAYS take our packages to the post office on the same day we print our labels. The postal service does not scan these packages, we can not be sure why, it's just the policy our local manager has explained to us. The tracking information will not be updated until the receiving local post office scans the package and updates it. Even though their web system is not the most reliable, USPS has a very reliable delivery system.

           We ship international packages using Priority envelopes. Orders going to Singapore, Italy and Russia may require addtional postage and insurance. Please email us for more information. Large international orders that do not fit in the flat rate envelopes may require additional shipping fees. If you have ordered an item that requires additional charges, we will contact you through email and hold your order. If you would like to upgrade your shipping to Express International with insurance and faster delivery, please email us. Additional charges will apply. International package tracking is not always available. It is the receiving country's responsibility to update USPS with the delivery information.            USPS records the date and time of delivery for domestic Priority packages. Once the package shows as delivered to your shipping address according to www.usps.com, we release any responsibility for the items shipped. Any package missing after the item has been confirmed to be delivered, is your repsonsibility to take up with your local post master and/or police department.

           If we are issuing replacements for parcels lost by the postal system, you will be given the option to purchase insurance for the replacement shipping. If you decline the insurance, you take full responsibility for the replacement. We will not issue replacements for lost replacements.

*** For international orders, if your order volume exceeds the volume a flat rate envelope will hold, your items may be removed from their original packaging. If ordering large items in large quantities (for example more than 2 Spektrum receivers) and you would like to receive the items in their original packing, additional shipping charges will apply. Please notify us when ordering if you wish to receive your items in their original packaging.

Preorder Policy...

          Often when we run out of a product, we will offer the option for our customers to place it on Preorder. Typically, when an item is on Preorder, we do have that item on order with the manufacturer. There are a few items that are listed on our webpage that are Preorder Only, these items are considered special orders for us and will be ordered when the Preorder is placed. This is to prevent items that don't sell well from aging on our shelves.

          When you place an item on Preorder, you will not receive an email about it's status. You may email us for updates and we'll gladly respond to your request; we will also be honest when we do not have concrete ETA's. When we get our merchandise in, Preorders will be filled and shipped first. If you have ordered other items that are currently in stock, your entire order will be held until the Preordered items are in stock. If you would like the in stock items to ship immediately, please place a separate order for those items. Due to rising postage prices, we can not afford to break up orders.

          When you place an item on Preorder and complete the transaction, you will be billed for the item. At this time, we do not have the capability to bill people when the item ships. Our Preorder system is offered so that our customers can purchase items they will need but do not need immediately. We feel it's beneficial for those who don't want to watch our site daily to see when items are back in stock.

           As many of you already know, Light Flight RC is a small company run by Dave and Sara Skokan. Dave has been flying since he was 12 and started this business when he graduated from the Academy of Art in San Francisco about 6 years ago. Sara started working for Light Flight RC in May 2006. We got married on July 26, 2008.
