Mode one or default mode works well with most motors. You can program these controllers with the included serial cable. if you only have a laptop with USB or prefer USB you can use the inexpensive USB to serial adapter I offer as well.
They feauture three user modes, mode two and mode three are completly programable. If desired, each user mode is easily switched between before flight, otherwise the controller stays in the desired user mode. See the below documentation for more info on programming. These have all programable features you are used to seeing in the most advanced controllers on the market. In addition you can reduce the maximum throttle setting within the ESC to prevent motor oversaturation, or just to limit your maximum current if your setup is drawing too much.
Description:MDrive-18A has continuous power output up to 400 Watts. It features a compact design and its size is half of the MDrive-36A. The device is equipped with a thermal protection sensor with settings that can be programmed by the user. MDrive-18A also has a wide range of input working voltages. The device uses a 70mil multi-layer printed circuit board. It is professionally designed and constructed with the best components available. It is well suited to work with popular medium size BLDC motors.
